The Billings Chamber of Commerce was recognized last week with an Award for Special Merit for its website that was designed and developed by a billings web design firm and chamber member, Zee Creative. The award was given by the Western Association of Chamber Executives (W.A.C.E.) during its annual convention in Henderson, Nevada. The Chamber’s Communications and Strategic Priorities Manager, Kelly McCandles, was on hand to accept the award.
“The Chamber’s website, billingschamber.com, is its front door – we connect with members and inform our community through that portal. As with all businesses, our web presence is absolutely key to our success. We are proud to be recognized for our work on such an important communication tool,” McCandless explained.
The website aims to inform, connect and orient site visitors to Billings, Montana and its business community. It offers an in-depth advocacy platform, videos showcasing Billings, comprehensive relocation information and tools, benefit engagement information for members, and an ever-evolving stream of important community information and news.
W.A.C.E. is an association of chamber of commerce executives and staff professionals with approximately 825 members in 19 Western states and Canada. The association is designed to promote and enhance the professional development of chamber of commerce executives and is the largest state or regional chamber of commerce executives association in the United States.
